Make your tea towels soft and absorbent

We can’t do without tea towels... They have to be beautiful, and also decorative when not in use. But it’s the old soft tea towels that dry best, right? What if you could make your new tea towels as nice and absorbent as your old ones?

  • HOW TO DO IT:

    1. Soak new tea towels
    Before use, it is important to soak the tea towels in cold water. You fill a tub with water and make sure they are under water, preferably for 24 hours. This applies to tea towels, kitchen towels and ordinary towels. Then wash them in the normal way.

    2. No fabric softener
    Then wash your tea towels at 60 degrees or above for hygiene. If you want your tea towels to be soft, add a little vinegar to remove lime-scale from the water. Avoid fabric softener, as it will form a film on the fabric and reduce absorbency.
