First, the glass is hand-blown to achieve the whole unique structure and surface, so no two are alike. Next, fresh blades of grass are collected in nature. The leaves must be completely fresh to be applied to the tealight holder. The next step in the process is that glue is applied and the leaves are gently applied by hand. The process is finished with another layer of glue. The colour of the leaves will change depending on how much they dry out and are exposed to sunlight. This means that the colour of the leaves will change over time and they will become paler. This is a natural process that cannot be prevented when working with natural materials, giving each tealight holder its own charm and uniqueness.
